Raise awareness among other parents, teachers, and the principle about the serious health effects that WiFi may have on students. Then, as a group of concerned parents, approach the school administration on the district level about this issue. If you are unable to gather a group of parents to approach the administration, at least make them aware of your own concerns and desire for wired internet rather than WiFi in your child’s school. -Resist the placement of cell phone base stations within 350 meters (about the length of three football fields) of schools. -Gather a group of concerned parents, teachers and community members to protest the placement of base stations near schools. Some already existing base stations have been removed in response to community activism and several groups have successfully protested the construction of these transmitters near schools.
